Personal Assistance Services / Caregiver Services
Our agency provides experienced caregivers to help clients maintain their independence and dignity at the comfort of their residence. Personal assistance services may include daily activities of living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, assist with medication reminders, meal preparation, exercising (walking) and hygiene.
Our caregivers are trained to report any issues, which reduces unnecessary Emergency Department (ED) visits, and hospital re-admissions. These program categories include: FAMILY CARE SERVICES, COMMUNITY ATTENDANT SERVICES, PRIMARY HOME CARE PROGRAM, IN-HOME RESPITE CARE.
Family Care
Family Care is a non-skilled, nontechnical attendant care service for eligible adults who are functionally limited in performing activities of daily living. Primary Home Care provider agencies have the option of providing these services. Family Care services are provided by an attendant and do not require the supervision of a registered nurse.
Community Attendant Services
Community Attendant Services is a non-technical, medically related personal care service that is available to eligible adults whose health problems cause them to be functionally limited in performing activities of daily living according to a practitioner’s statement of medical need. Services are provided by an attendant.
Primary Home Care
Primary Home Care program is a nontechnical, medically related personal care service provided to adults whose health problems cause them to be functionally limited in performing activities of daily living, according to a statement of medical need. This service also is a non-skilled, nontechnical service provided to eligible clients who are functionally limited in performing daily activities.
In-Home Respite Care
Taking care of a loved one can sometimes take a toll on a caregiver’s physical and emotional health if they do not get an occasional break. Better Options Homecare services have caregivers come to your home to provide planned short-term and time-limited breaks when you need one.
Additional Services
Services May include and not limited to: • Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including personal grooming and hygiene
